The class of driving licence determines the type of vehicle you can legally drive on the road.
- Class A - allows you to drive motorbikes with no power or displacement restrictions.
- Class A1 - allows you to drive motorbikes with a displacement of up to 125 cc and a power of up to 11 kW.
- Class A2 - allows you to drive motorbikes up to 35 kW.
- Class AM - allows you to drive mopeds, electric mopeds, scooters, quads with an engine capacity of up to 50 cm3 and a speed of up to 45 km/h.
- Class B1 - allows you to drive quads and lightweight three-wheelers up to 550 kg.
- Class B - allows you to drive cars up to 3,500 kg gross vehicle weight and agricultural tractors.
- Class C - allows you to drive trucks with a gross vehicle weight of more than 3,500 kg.
- Class C1 - allows you to drive light trucks with a gross vehicle weight of up to 7,500 kg.
- Class D - allows you to drive buses with a light trailer up to 750kg.
- Class D1 - allows you to drive buses with up to 16 seats.
- Class T - allows you to drive tractors and slow-moving vehicles.
